this is lovely.

Passing out gifts this christmas was amazing.

It’s only been 2 years now that I decided to start this thing but every year I have been so blessed and touched by the people I meet. And even though it seems like some people are confused or don’t care, I never will know what kind of impact it has made. This year, we brought the family, took 3 cars and passed out about 50 gifts to anyone who seemed to need one on christmas afternoon/evening. Bringing the little kids was also something important to me so they can start to see how wonderful it is to give.
Here’s a couple stories that my family shared with me:

“The very first gift that was given out was to a man that was fighting with his wife and had been walking all day with no where to go. I handed him the gift and said Merry Christmas, he started to cry. He told me his story and I was able to pray over him. Thank you to all that donated gifts, you truly blessed so many including me. That man could’ve been thinking of death or that there is no hope. With this gift he was given hope, love and most of all a blessing from up above. God is so good! Happy birthday Jesus.”

“Angela was a woman I gave a blanket to and was able to pray for right in front in UNM. Her hands were so cold but all she wanted was a prayer for her 18 year old son who lived out of state. We were both crying by the end of that prayer :)”

“We gave a ride to a man who had to walk incredibly far. He told us how he got jumped and stabbed the day before (christmas eve) while walking down central.”

I don’t know where everyone is now, but I hope someone was blessed because I certainly was.

If you’re a Christian seeking a relationship please check your motive. As Christians we only enter relationships if we intend on getting married, we’re not like the world, we don’t “test drive.” Women are not cars and men are not objects to fill your insecurities, we don’t date for “fun.” If you’re not seeking marriage then stop seeking relationship. And of course the point of marriage is to glorify God, and partner together for the Gospel.
